Nat's New York Pizzeria has taken top honours in the Green Man pizza poll. Readers like the handthrown crust and I have to say that I favour the New York style slice myself. That said, few shops in Vancouver serve that style and not everyone lives close to good ol Nat's. Here is theoriginal post that started the voting.

For Italian style pies, we favour Incendio on the west side. Moki's in Dunbar also drew raves.

Ragazzi and Martini's rule in midtown and the east side. Lombardo's has been turning out good pies on Commercial Drive for decades. Italian meats and cheese and a toothsome crust. That's good eats. Also on the east side, Supreme Pizza at Victoria and 49th was often mentioned as a favourite.

For a slice on the go readers point to Uncle Fatih's on Broadway near Commercial. I admit I have driven by it a thousand times without going in, but now I will have to.

Papa John's is a big pizza chain that seems to be getting it right. Though mom and pop shops and local mini-chains were by far the more common choice for pizza fans, these guys put out a pretty decent pie and a lot of readers said just that.

Beyond the city limits, many readers are faithful to Steveston Pizza in Richmond and Viva Suein Burnaby.
